I need management services

For the majority of businesses, waste is an unavoidable by-product of their core activities and an unwanted additional burden. Few companies can justify a full time in-house specialist to manage the problem and keep up to date with the latest legislation. Key Waste Solutions can fill this gap and provide the following services:

  • Advice on the latest legislation and developments.
  • Assistance in the introduction of practical waste minimisation and recycling initiatives tailored to your site specific needs.
  • Help in the design of factory layouts and the specification of waste handling systems, Key Waste have designed several waste and recycling areas for manufacturing and distribution sites including advice on equipment, site layout, electrical, drainage and storage requirements with an emphasis on practical material handling and segregation.
  • Review of all your documentation to ensure that it complies with Duty of Care requirements and also advise you on how to create, monitor and maintain records.
  • Vetting of all your waste contractors including off site inspections, either on your behalf or accompanied by someone from your business or we will train you to conduct the checks yourself.
  • Producing reports and KPIs. Waste data should be presented in a format that is easy to understand, up to date and provides useful management information so that it assists you in making informed decisions. With our experience we can assist in creating, tailoring and maintaining suitable systems
  • Having helped you introduce new systems, equipment or processes we will then work with you to create a training package so that it can be maintained and all employees continue to play their part.

We also have unrivalled expertise on all aspects of the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations having worked with Producers, Recyclers, Exporters and Compliance Schemes since the regulations were introduced in 1998. If you think you may be obligated then we will take you through the whole process as painlessly as possible
